Mirror Beach Albania gets raving reviews on TripAdvisor. But other than TripAdvisor, there is not much content out there about the popular coastline. Therefore, I did a little research, so that you can decide for yourself. Whether or not you should include Mirror Beach Albania on your itinerary this summer?

Where is Mirror Beach Albania?

To visit the beautiful coastline of Albania, you must travel to the south coast of the country. Although, Tirana is Albania’s official capital city. Saranda is known as the “Capital of the Albanian Riviera”. Saranda is a big coastal city. And as you can imagine, the coast of Saranda is a crowded place.  Therefore, many tourists prefer to look for a quieter and more private seashores. Which is why Mirror Beach Albania has received so much praise online.

Why should you visit Mirror Beach Albania?

Mirror Beach Albania is a better choice than Saranda or Ksamil. Even though, Saranda and Ksamil are beautiful places, they are overcrowded. Mirror beach on the other hand remains quiet even in the summer months. It gives you the chance to relax and feel free.

Moreover, the seashore is stunning. You will not believe your eyes, when you see the bright blue water. The bay is surrounded by white cliffs. The rocky background makes the bay feel like a secret spot. The colour of the water inside bay is perfect turquoise blue. And when you wade into the sea, you will feel that the water is a lovely warm temperature.

Why is it called “the beach of mirrors”?

In Albanian, the beach is called “Plazhi Pasqyra”. This means: the beach of mirrors. During the day, the sunlight reflects on the sea. Therefore, the sunlight makes the sea look like a sparkling mirror. The reflection of the sea really has a magical effect. Which is one of the reasons many locals, say that mirror beach is the highlight of the Albanian coast.

Why is Mirror Beach Albania the highlight of the Albanian Riviera?

When you reach the seashore site, you will be rewarded with an unbelievable view. The sea is so clean and clear, that you cannot believe it is natural. The water has a bright turquoise color. Moreover, the coastline is unspoiled. Unlike Saranda or Ksamil, there are no hotels or resorts nearby. It is just your family and the nature.

Furthermore, the nature of the coastline is gorgeous. The shore is surrounded by beautiful rock formations. Moreover, the mountains around the site are green and quiet. There are rocks standing in the middle of the sea water, which feels magical.

Overall, Mirror Beach Albania is a great place to have fun with your friends and family. Once, you have visited, I guarantee that you will recommend it to your friends and family back home.
