If you book the Flying Dolphin, your journey will take 35 minutes. However, if you book the slower passenger and car ferry, then your journey from Saranda to Corfu will take 65 minutes. The different ferries are indicated on timetables online and whilst booking the ferry online or in person.

If you are traveling to Albania in the Autumn, Winter or Spring season, ferry tickets are slightly less expensive. You will pay 19-20 euros for the slower car/passenger ferry. Or 19-25 euros for the faster Flying Dolphin hydrofoil boat.

There are two ferry boat operators on the route from Saranda to Corfu. You can book your ferry ticket with Finikas Lines or Ionian Seaways. How long is the ferry from Saranda to Corfu?

If you book the Flying Dolphin high-speed hydrofoil, your journey from Saranda to Corfu will only take 35 minutes. Because this is a speed boat essentially.

However, if you book the regular car ferry, also called “passenger ship”, then your journey from Saranda to Corfu will take 65 minutes. Because the car ferry is simply slower than the hydrofoil.

When you book your ferry ticket, you will see the different types of ferries indicated on the timetable. Below is an example of what the ferry timetable might look like in July or August.

  • 06:00 AM Passenger ship (65 min)

So depending on which time slot you select when booking your ferry ticket, you will either take the slower passenger ship (65 min) or the speedy flying dolphin (35 min).
