Many tourists buy a SIM card at the Vodafone shop at Tirana Airport. For a SIM card at Tirana airport, you can expect to pay 25-29 euros. Package prices do change slightly, but you may for instance be offered one package costing 25 euros and another package costing 29 euros. But the general range to expect would be between 25-29 euros for a SIM card and data/calling package with Vodafone.

The alternative to Vodafone is “ONE” or “ONE Albania telecommunications”, that company also offers SIM cards and packages in Albania. ONE Albania also has a shop at Tirana Airport. Prices for ONE are very similar to Vodafone. In the past, ONE used to be called ALB Telecom, but that company merged with ONE Telecom, so that is the new name.

Where can I buy a SIM card in Albania for tourists?

Most tourists buy a SIM card for Albania at the Vodafone shop at Tirana Airport, simply because it is convenient to buy a SIM card upon arrival at the airport. 

If you buy a SIM card for Albania at Vodafone Tirana Airport, you will be offered 2 x SIM card packages for Albania. Of course, you can also buy a SIM card from ONE telecom at Tirana airport. The SIM card offering from ONE telecom is very similar. They also offer SIM cards in Albania for tourists for 25 euros or 29 euros.

In Albania, post is not delivered to home addresses. Any packages get sent to the local post office, where residents of the area can collect their packages and mail.
